When were you born?


When did you started to follow high carb raw vegan diet?

Jan 1st, 2007

What were you eating before and how did you feel?

I was eating everything basically and felt terrible, depressed, had poor digestion, acne on my skin.

What health benefits and other improvements have you noticed after starting this kind of raw food diet Freelee?

I have cleared up my acne, my digestion is fantastic now, I am no longer depressed and I've lost 40 lbs of junk of my trunk.

Have you ever tried the high fat/gourmet raw? How did you feel?

Yes I tried it in 2006, high fat leaves us performing like a slug and this is how I felt. I don't mind eating it occasionally but it's not something I would make a habit off. Humans thrive on a low fat diet.

How many calories and food quantities you eat in a typical day?

Week worth of food for Freelee

I average about 3000 calories which is equal to 30 bananas. I don't always eat only bananas though. I love dates, mangoes and durian too. I generally have about 30 dates in one meal blended into a datorade for breakfast. Lunch could be 10 bananas and dinner could be a fruity salad with say 6 mangoes and greens. 

How much Greens?

I have greens maybe a few times a week and generally about a head of lettuce each time.

How much overt fats you eat?

I generally eat 5 % of my daily calories from fat and I feel my best when I eat this way. 

How much water?

Depends on the weather and exercise I've done but around 3 litres a day.

Do you practise proper food combining?

Yes, I find this is really important and I practise it as much as possible.

How much do you exercise and what activities you do?

Freelee kicked her old habits in the butt

I generally jog every second day for about 30mins to one hour and do weight lifting 2-3 times a week. My goal is to do more yoga. I LOVE to dance and I also ride a bike occasionally.

How much sleep do you get?

I aim to get about 10hrs a night and usually get that. I don't have any alarm clocks to shock me into action, so I just sleep until I don't want to sleep anymore.

What accomplishements have you achieved on the high carb raw vegan diet?

I have increased my 5km racing time from about 29mins to 20mins. I also rode across Australia (3000kms +) solo in the middle of winter on 100% high carb raw vegan.

How do you make a living?

I'm an online raw food coach and my ebook is very popular and brings in a good income. 

What advice would you give to the people who would like to improve their quality of life Freelee?

Get real honest with yourself about where you're at in life. Step up and raise your standards for your health and wellbeing. First and foremost, make sure you look after your basic physiological needs of enough carbohydrates, water and sleep. If you don't then you will not be able to grow into the amazing person that you truly are. Educate yourself on getting healthy by reading the 80-10-10 book by Dr Doug Graham and my new ebook (which is a small investment with a lot of return). Don't worry about the 'nay-sayers' in life, follow your heart always, because those who matter do not mind and those who mind, do not matter!
